Shipping & Delivery Policy – PaintMarket.be
Effective Date: 11 October 2025
1. Scope & Acceptance
This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) applies to all orders placed through PaintMarket.be. By placing an order, you agree to the terms described below.
Please also refer to our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refund Policy for related provisions.
2. Order Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed within 24 to 48 hours (1–2 business days) after payment confirmation and verification of address.
- Processing does not include weekends or public holidays.
- During high volume periods (promotions, holidays), processing may take slightly longer; in such cases we will inform you by email.
3. Shipping Regions & Carriers
We currently deliver to the following regions:
- Belgium (mainland)
- Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France
- Other EU countries (on request — contact our support)
We partner with trusted carriers (local and international) to deliver your order. The specific carrier (e.g. PostNL, Bpost, DHL, etc.) will be selected based on your delivery address, parcel size, weight, and cost efficiency.
4. Shipping Methods, Delivery Times & Costs

* Delivery times are estimates from the date of dispatch (i.e. after processing) and may vary depending on destination and carrier.
Example Belgium Rates (for illustration)
- 0 – 10 kg: €16
- 10 – 30 kg: €22.50 (Adapted from Caron’s structure – caron.be)
For deliveries outside Belgium (Netherlands, France, etc.), rates will be calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Orders above a certain value (e.g. €90 or equivalent) may qualify for free standard shipping (this threshold can be configured).
If your parcel exceeds certain size or weight limits (e.g. >30 kg, or longest side >1.5 m, or combined dimensions >3 m), special transport arrangements may be required. In such cases, we will contact you with a custom shipping quote before final dispatch.
5. Delivery & Receipt
- We deliver to the address you specify at checkout. Please ensure it is correct and complete.
- A signature may be required upon delivery to ensure package security.
- If nobody is available at the delivery address at the time of delivery, the carrier may attempt redelivery or leave a notification for pickup at a local depot.
- In rare cases (remote areas, islands, etc.), additional delivery charges may apply; we will notify you in advance.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with:
- Carrier name
- Tracking number
- Estimated delivery date
You can use that tracking number to follow your parcel via the carrier’s website.
7. Delays, Losses & Damaged Packages
- PaintMarket.be is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, incorrect address information, or force majeure.
- If your shipment is lost or severely delayed, contact us with your order number and tracking number; we will assist in investigating with the carrier.
- If your package arrives damaged, please:
- Photograph the external and internal packaging immediately.
- Keep all packaging and contents.
- Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with evidence. We will coordinate with the carrier and, if eligible, arrange for a replacement or refund (per our Returns & Refund Policy).
8. Taxes, Duties & Import Charges
For deliveries outside Belgium:
- Any import duties, taxes, customs, or handling fees imposed by the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.
- These charges are not included in your order total or shipping fees at checkout.
- Please check with your local customs office for applicable regulations before placing your order.
9. Combining Orders & Multiple Shipments
- If you place multiple orders, they may ship separately and incur separate shipping fees.
- Partial shipments may occur if items become available at different times; you will be notified in that case.
10. Changes & Cancellations
- You may request to change your delivery address or cancel your order before it has been shipped. Once dispatched, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
